I owe massive thank yous to jeremy (who, when I was like “How do you commemorate this?” went, “frame something”) and Fee, who tracked that sticker down via her kids’ book connections after I had ransacked the school & library marketing departments of 4 different publishing houses and come up empty-handed. Because he’s not the self-congratulatory jerk that I am (I would have gotten this sticker tattooed on my face by now, but whatever. Personal choices) I fully expect this to live in a box in his closet for the duration of his time on earth, but still. Having things framed screams Grown Up and Important way more than, say, having renter’s insurance, which was my most recent earmark of adulthood.
